Come help Equality North Carolina to run our table at the Charlotte Black Pride Expo! We will be gathering newsletter signups, giving away free stickers and informational materials, telling visitors about our programs, and selling some of our t-shirts. It should be a fun and engaging opportunity for volunteers who like to work with people and want to learn more about LGBTQ advocacy in North Carolina. A staff member will be present throughout the day to collaborate with volunteers on setup, breakdown, and handling questions from visitors to our booth.

Description
To accomplish our mission we tirelessly lobby the North Carolina General Assembly, executive branch, and local governments, broadcast LGBTQ news, stories and content, and mobilize our communities on issues that we understand matter most to North Carolinians, including parental rights, inclusive anti-bullying policies, employment discrimination, hate violence, privacy rights, sexuality education, adoption, youth homelessness, criminalization and HIV/AIDS.

- Volunteers will sign up with us to work a 2 hour shift at the Charlotte Black Pride Expo.
