Take part in World Habitat Day and reflect on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. It is intended to remind the world that we all have the power and responsibility to shape the future of our cities and towns. Proper habitat for plants and animals is a very important aspect of our ecosystem. Removing nonnative species from our parks is a way to improve habitat and shape the environment around us. Come join us for a day of removing Invasive Bush Honeysuckle, which restrains native plants from growing and providing resources like food and shelter. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
