Hospice is always looking for volunteers to help with patients. Volunteers provide a variety of services and can make a major difference in the lives of our patients. Volunteers provide NO MEDICAL SERVIECES and respite time for caregivers and families.
Some Examples: Provide companionship and socialization, Help with general office support, run errands for families, Play games, listen, read, walk or care for family pets, Assist with light house cleaning, on more.

Description
Encompass Health is looking for volunteers to provide comfort and support , veteran companionship, music therapy and anyone who is willing to provide to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
