Yoga Instructor -- Underserved Women/Healing
Lead a Friday Morning 9:00 a.m. session of Gentle or Adapted Yoga at the Adult Corrections Facility in Plymouth, MN. Must be able to help a small fitness group with members at varying levels.
This medium-level Facility is for women with sentences of one year or less.
Volunteer time commitment can be these options: Once per month; every-other week or weekly.
As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high quality, engaging yoga and fitness classes that are approachable. You must have a passion for fitness and a strong desire to share this excitement with students of all levels.
Our program is looking for yoga instructors who are passionate about helping students learn yoga and who love to lead students through exercises that help improve well-being.
We are looking for yoga instructors who have Yoga teaching experience and can take students through cohesive yoga sequences, choose appropriate music, effectively correct form.
Must have training/education/experience with yoga Instructor credentials. Volunteer vetting steps include a finger-print based background check.
Qualifications - Preferred
* 1 + year of yoga teaching experience
* Must be aged 19 or above.
