We are going after the WORLD RECORD of the most women bikers in one ride on August 2019!! We ride to support Firefly for Autism. An incredible nonprofit for autistic children and their families. We will have celebrity guests, live music, food, liquor, drinks, entertainment, competitions, etc... Will be an awesome day!

The MORNING SHIFT will be for setting up the park for the festivities starting around noon. There will be an onsite coordinator that you will check in with and get specific assignments from there. We will need some heavy lifters to setup tents / canopies and unload all the supplies from trucks.

The AFTERNOON SHIFT will be customer service focused. We will need drink station attendants, water stand attendants, floaters walking through the crowd making sure things are ok (crowd monitors and be available for questions), ongoing cleanup crew, and possible merchandise booth volunteers.

We also need LICENSED bartenders. Probably a total of 6 per shift, so 12 in all. IF you or anyone you know has a license to serve liquor at events, please reach out to me directly!

About ALTA VISTA CENTER FOR AUTISM

Location:

2695 S JERSEY ST, DENVER, CO 80222, US

Mission Statement

To provide much needed services to autistic children and their families to give these children the same chances at life as every other child.

Description

Our services include clinical assessments and the development of individual treatment plans, an intensive early intervention program, a school-age program for students up to age 21, a home and community based program, and weekly social skills groups. Firefly serves children (as young as 18 months of age) and adults, and every program in our clinic has a 1:1 student to teacher ratio. Firefly’s treatment is based on leading, empirically based interventions, primarily using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach functional skills. The supervising personnel for ABA-based programs are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who, in addition to holding a graduate degree, completing a series of coursework in ABA, required hours of supervision, and are credentialed by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (www.BACB.com). To maintain certification, each analyst must maintain continuing education at least annually. To enhance service delivery, our organization includes speech and occupational therapy, and mental health services, based on the individual’s needs.
