What: Sunday Streets Mission! All volunteers will receive a free lunch and a Sunday Streets Volunteer T-shirt.

Sunday Streets creates 10 events annually that transform car-congested San Francisco streets into vibrant community spaces for all to enjoy. Bringing together neighborhood groups, local merchants, and nonprofits, Sunday Streets helps tens of thousands of San Francisco residents reimagine their streets as public spaces during a 5-hour car-free extravaganza. Sunday Streets encourages residents and visitors to go outside and get physical while celebrating their local communities.

All programs and activities are FREE and open to the public.

Shifts offered:

• Setup Crew
• Crossing Guard
• Breakdown Crew

Shifts are 3.5 hours long. Volunteers are in charge of the operations and logistics to make the event run smoothly. Volunteers under 18-years-old must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver and an adult must accompany those under 16-years.

Where: 1-4 miles in length of Mission to be transformed into car-free space for the community to enjoy.

When: Sunday, July 14th from 11am - 4pm; 3.5 hour volunteer shifts start as early as 8:30am and end at 5:30pm.
