Hello San Jose Residents,
The summer is here and is bringing us beautiful sunny days!
We are looking for volunteers to schedule litter clean-ups in and around your neighborhood. This is a great opportunity for community/neighborhoods to come together for a day of work and enjoyment, beautifying their community.
This is also a great way for HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS to earn community service hours while making a positive impact on the environment.
To schedule a Litter Clean-up, please follow these three easy steps:
Step 1: Schedule an appointment by at least 2 weeks in advance by calling our office at 408-975-7181 or emailing Annie Gambelin at annie.gambelin@sanjoseca.gov
Step 2: Come to the appointment at our office at 1661 Senter Rd. Building G to complete paperwork and pick up (Free) supplies (bags, vests, gloves and litter sticks)
Step 3: Start your volunteer work

Mission Statement
Help us clean up litter in San José. To participate and sign up please call one of the meeting locations below. On the day of the event, register at your meeting location and receive litter cleanup supplies. At noon, join your Council District Office for a celebration lunch at your Council District’s Event Kickoff Location. Lunch is free for volunteers.

offers assistance to the residents of San José in the removal
of graffiti and litter throughout the City. Our vision is to
create a cleaner San José by improving the health of the
