In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing The New Jersey State Museum is hosting a summer picnic with a lunar theme! Designed for people of all ages, there will be a DJ, food truck, solar observing and fun activities! We need volunteers to manage activities and provide information to visitors. Arrive by 3:30 for station specific training, the event begins at 4:00.

Description
Volunteers will have the opportunity to guide visitors in exhibits; work closely with school-age children and welcome the public to the museum.
