Famous Fido Rescue is looking for committed people to work at the adjacent Rescue Store. All of the proceeds from the store go to helping the animals at Famous Fido. We have women’s clothing and accessories, home goods, pet supplies, collectibles and more for sale at huge discounts. All items in the Rescue Store have been donated by individuals and local businesses.

If you are interested in helping animals this is the job for you! We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic people to help increase in store and online sales. The position will require you to sort donations, organize and price inventory, and create displays. We want to maintain the store so it looks great and is easy to shop. You will also need to help customers, answer questions, and facilitate sales. We are looking for organized, reliable people to help us maintain the Rescue Store and increase profits.

We are also working to increase our online sales, through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and other independent forums. We need sellers to photograph items, create listings, and facilitate sales. We encourage sellers to use whatever websites and apps they feel comfortable with. Hours are flexible, preferably 20-40 a week. We will offer a commission for all items sold and work done in store.

Famous Fido is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized each year through our adoption program, community education, and promotion of spaying and neutering. We also advocate for legislation and ordinance changes to secure rights for all animals. We receive no federal or state funding and rely solely on community donations, fundraising events, and volunteers to support our operations and care for the animals. By volunteering here, you would be contributing meaningfully to the care of dogs and cats, allowing them to live the rest of their lives safe and loved.
