Colette’s Children’s Home is a nonprofit organization that has provided housing and supportive services to over 4,800 homeless women and children over the past 20 years. Our mission is to provide homeless single women and homeless mothers with children a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency.
We have a food pantry in Placentia and are in need of volunteers to work around 10:00am-2:00pm every Sunday. Volunteers will be helping unload food and put it away in the food pantry. This entails:
1. Unloading boxes
2. Sorting through food
3. Organizing and putting away the food.
4. Breaking down boxes
The estimated time to put away the food is around 4 hours, but may vary depending on the total amount of volunteers and amount of food delivered.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
