Volunteer Drivers - Can save on car insurance
ORGANIZATION: Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council
Please visit the new page to apply.
Do you drive? Do you have two hours, once or twice a month, to help someone who will never be able to drive?
You can help your neighbors who have intellectual and developmental disabilities with simple trips to Special Olympics, part time jobs, or social events.
You don’t have to drive both ways or wait for the rider - just give someone a lift! All of our participants are cleared to travel independently; we’ll give you training that will make you comfortable, and may even lower your auto insurance costs!
We guarantee you’ll make new friends and come away with a warm fuzzy feeling every time!
We’re funded by Developmental Pathways and CDOT
