The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is seeking skilled volunteers to join the board of a local non-profit that is committed to impacting the futures of disadvantaged youth throughout Southeast Michigan by supporting them holistically through each phase of their lives. This group provides college and career prep, after school programs, life skills training, tutoring, financial education for youth in grades 1-12.

Tasks: Provide you valuable skills and expertise towards serving the organization. Board members may assist with:

• Public Relations
• Program Development
• Strategic Planning
• Fundraising and Development
• Events

Qualifications: Seeking someone who can provide passion, skill and work ethic

Timeframe: One year.

Location of work: Central office is near the Normal Park neighborhood in Ypsilanti.
