Kick-off summer in downtown Royal Oak! Join this celebration of community, family and fun with an 18 ride carnival, a kids stage, the fifth avenue block party, live music, a zipline and more!
Join Arts & Scraps at the first ever Rock N' Rides event in downtown Royal Oak! Our volunteers will help assist in creating roller coaster themed projects throughout the day with children and families of all ages. We're looking for excited volunteers to help us on Thursday, June 20th from 1-6 pm, Friday, June 21st from 12-6 pm and again on Sunday, June 23rd from 12-6 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
