Volunteer as an instructional helpers for activities with participants like fitness, budgeting, safety, cooking, or arts and crafts. Those are just a few options of how you can help with our programming, but we are always eager to hear about the ideas and interests of our volunteers and how they'd like to be involved with our adults with disabilities.

Empowering individuals with disabilities and their families to lead fulfilled and productive lives.
Participants come from 8:00-3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, to participate in a multitude of programs and services. In addition to on-site and community paid employment, participants enjoy social and recreational activities such as community excursions, life skills training, exercise classes and creative activities. Participants also serve as volunteers in the community. In many ways, Harbor House provides a critical respite for families who most often must make life-altering sacrifices to care for their son or daughter with mental retardation and/or development disabilities.
We'll work with your schedule.
