The Gant School of Music and Jazz is seeking motivated Board Members for the inaugural season of programing. Each board member (if accepted) will work to achieve the GMAJ Mission while creating a strong culture of excellence. In order to reach our vision of aiding students gain access to the world of music. Each member must be willing to give from their passion, expertise, and resources to create a program that is reliable and meaningful.

At GMAJ, the goal is to make an impact by changing the trajectory of children's lives through music and music education. We

are excited about what lies on the horizon. Forging partnerships with more organizations

to bring us closer to reaching our benchmarks of success. Helping others as was once done for us.

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 21
  • The initial term of office is for 2 years. Based on activity level and commitment to the organization, a board member may renew this term twice for a total of 6 years. After this, a member must wait one year before applying again.
  • Board members contribute to the organization from their personal time, energy, creative insights, and financial resources. Board members are asked to make a meaningful commitment on a quarterly basis and carry out fund-raising campaigns.
