POSITION TITLE: ASSISTED LIVING CAREGIVER VOLUNTEER
SHIFT DAYS/TIMES: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM 3:00PM (flexible).
GUIDELINES: * Fingerprint clearance needed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist caregivers with different tasks. * Help residents with tasks, miscellaneous activites. * Provide help to Assisted living residents and staff with a good attitude, and patience. * Talk to residents and provide help in a calm reassuring manner. BENEFITS * Gain knowledge of the caregiving career. * Learn about older adults and what health impairments they may have. * Interact with older adults and help them with day to day tasks. * Have the pleasure to help the community and older adults. We are an active senior living community offering, a full continuum of care, with many different residential living options including:
1) Independent Living, residential living with services and amenities included or available
2) Assisted Living, residential living with supportive services for daily activities of living included
3) Skilled Nursing, short and long-term nursing care, rehabilitation, and respite services
4) Dementia Support, Alzheimer's Disease, dementia care, and palliative care and services
