HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) is designed to improve the quality of life physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially for individuals with special needs and veterans. HRET is a PATH Intl. Member Center and offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of riders from preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We teach both mounted, unmounted, and farm experience classes! We empower people through the spirit of the horse!
We need volunteers who will act as a side walker (walking next to the rider at all times), lead the horse, or help with the morning farm experience classes. This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining our organization as the more volunteers we have, the more participants we can teach! You do NOT need experience with horses to volunteer!
We have evening riding classes and we have morning group classes. Morning classes consist of both riding and a "farm experience" portion. Currently we do not teach on the weekends.

- Saturday, July 13, 2019 9:00AM - 12:00PM (arrive between 8:30AM - 8:45AM to turn in paperwork and registration)
- Saturday, August 3, 2019 9:00AM - 12:00PM (arrive between 8:30AM - 8:45AM to turn in paperwork and registration)
If you are interested in working with our horses please join us for ONE of our Intro to Leading Training dates**:
- Tuesday, June 25, 2019 10:45AM - 12:00PM
- Tuesday, July 16, 2019 10:45AM - 12:00PM
- Thursday, August 8, 2019 6:30PM - 8:30PM
**You MUST attend a Sidewalker training prior to attending the Leading Training
We will be having trainings monthly- please sign up to keep informed even if you can’t make one of these!

Mission Statement
HRET is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We are an equine assisted services (EAS) program that provides horse and pony therapeutic riding and activities. Our classes are approximately an hour long and incorporate grooming and bonding time with horses or ponies, in addition to riding.
