Gateway to Science is looking for volunteers to help at our summer STEM Spectacular. At this free, all-ages event, you will assist participants with a wide range of hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities - no previous experience required! You will receive station assignments and instructions when you arrive. Many activities for this summer's event will feature sports themes. Most of the event will be outdoors to allow for social distancing. Cold beverages will be available for volunteers during the event.

To inspire the discovery of science through hands-on experiences.

Description

Discovery starts here! North Dakota's Gateway to Science hosts over 100,000 visitors each year in our hands-on, interactive exhibits gallery. Visitors of all ages discover the wonders of our world through scientific exploration.

Memberships available for year-round admission into the gallery. Our memberships are also honored by other ASTC centers around the world.

We offer after school clubs, summer science camps and workshops when there is no school. We host several free family events throughout the year, including Winter Wonderland, Weather You Wanna' Know, Family Rocket Day, and Bubble Bliss.

Our annual fundraiser, Einstein on Wine, is held in November and features a showdown between two local chefs. Good food, fun activities, entertainment, live and silent auctions - all adds up to a unique fun-filled evening for our adult supporters.

Our motto: It's fun, it's cool, it's awesome! It's science!
