Rainforest Partnership, based in Austin, Texas, is an international nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and regenerate tropical rainforests by working with the people of the forests to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature.
By fostering collaborative partnerships directly with rainforest communities, and around the globe, we are able to connect, create, and leverage innovative opportunities to protect the forest. Every day we gather for lunch in the dining room of our office to enjoy a nice lunch and relax for a little bit. We are looking for someone who would be able to come in, cook, and enjoy the meal with us. It would greatly help us stay productive and contribute to the effort of protecting the rainforests. We have a small kitchen and would provide the ingredients. In addition, you would be able to charge us for any extra groceries necessary.
Appliances Provided:
- Access to an Instant Pot
- Access to a microwave oven
- Access to a rice cooker
- Access to an oven
- Access to a small stovetop
Required Skills:
- Must be able to come in and provide lunch before 3PM
- Must be able to make vegetarian food
- Must be able to make enough food for 5+ people
