Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver

If you are looking for a way to make a long lasting, tangible impact in Denver, Habitat Metro Denver welcomes you to become part of our ReStore Core Volunteer team!

Habitat ReStores are home improvement outlets that sell new and gently used appliances, furniture, cabinets, building materials, and more at discount prices. All proceeds go towards our homeowner and home repair programs that support working families.

What is a Habitat Core Volunteer?

A Habitat Core Volunteer is literally just that: the "core" that keeps everything intact. Volunteers commit to serving one shift a week in a specific role at our Habitat ReStores.

We are currently looking for Core Volunteer Cashiers at our Littleton ReStore. Tasks include:

  • Greet and check out customers
  • Answer phone inquiries
  • Handle money
  • Process paperwork for purchased items
  • Keep the register area clean and organized
  • Represent Habitat Metro Denver in a positive and professional manner

As a Core Volunteer, you will:

  • Enjoy camaraderie with fellow volunteers
  • Learn new skills or use existing skills to make a difference
  • Help change families’ lives and support the community

If that’s not enough, don’t miss out on these great benefits:

  • 25% off all ReStore purchases
  • Invitations to social gatherings, home dedications, and other Habitat events
  • Habitat t-shirt and swag
Become part of this special group of people who are critical to Habitat’s work.
