National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
Due to COVID19 students have had their work ready skills greatly reduced without Work Experience or face to face contact with the world of work. We are taking the world of work into school with your help and allowing activities around the workplace to happen in school but virtually.
We are hosting a work ready initiative as part of the students CIAG curriculum (careers, information, advice and guidance). Each student gains the experience of meeting a business person who will support them through a mock interview for one of 5 selected job titles. You will then provide feedback confirming what was successful interaction and what could be improved. For many students this will be their first experience of the route into employment.
Do you think someone might consider assisting us with this and in doing so raise the profile of your work in this area?
Support students on their route to employment by providing guidance and 1:1 feedback on their interview techniques.

By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.
We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
This is a Virtual Opportunity with no fixed address.
