Piano Player Volunteer - Hospice

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Magnolia Hospice House

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We have a piano in our IPU that patients enjoy hearing from time to time. If you know how to play the piano in any capacity we would love for you to volunteer with us. You can use our piano to practice, and give back all at the same time. You do not have to have any particular amount of skill set when it comes to playing piano, our patients will appreciate any time you share with us.

Mission Statement

Magnolia Hospice is a community-based, progressive organization committed to providing the highest quality end-of-life care to patients and their families throughout metro Atlanta.

Description

Hospice is a compassionate, patient-oriented approach to medical care and support for patients and their families at the end of life. Its care focuses on maintaining dignity, increasing quality of life, and providing comfort.
As with physicians and hospitals, no two hospices are exactly the same. Magnolia Hospice places the needs of our patients and their families first.

With loved ones, caring volunteers, and knowledgeable professionals by your side, patients and families can feel relieved knowing they are supported and in control of their care every step of the way. When it comes to easing the burden of life-limiting illness, our experience and compassion are unmatched.
We believe that hospice shouldn’t be about giving up choices, control, or hope. We will work with you and your family to provide the care you need and where you choose to receive it.

You do not have to be ready to "give up."
