Member Duties : The VISTA member will help to build a sustainability aspect to our current Resident Services Program. This will enable NeighborWorks Boise to better serve its clientele. The member will work on designing a resource manual to create sustainability and improve the resident services program which will increase the agency’s ability to support and maintain a great resident services program at the multifamily complexes. Other member activities will include research, contributions to grants, recruiting and training potential volunteers, conducting outreach, reaching out to community partners to create relationships between NWBoise and the community at large, and compiling findings into the development of a resource manual for this program to utilize. - Americorps is a volunteer job position. This position is full time hours, and you receive a bi-weekly living stipend. NeighborWorks also provides a rent discount, a gas card, and paid training.
