Note: This is not a virtual opportunity. You would volunteer at local youth organizations in the greater Houston, TX area.
Launched in 2019, the MePower Inc. Volunteer Education Initiatives (MIVEI) provide anyone interested in advancing technology, whether in industry, academia, or government, the opportunity to create communities that fuel innovation, facilitate knowledge sharing and provide support through highly interactive technical educational sessions. MePower, Inc. aims to increase the level of education in science and tech of the community by offering complimentary youth tech training sessions at local area organizations. These technical educational sessions are taught by technology teachers and are designed to foster increased understanding of technology while students collaborate to complete a project.
Love working with kids and tech! This opportunity is for you. MIVIE is looking for volunteers to teach our exciting tech courses to youth in the Greater Houston, TX area. Description
We provide applied scientific research and educational opportunities for our target community. Our main goal is to increase the level of community and education to youth conquering cancer, while they are in the hospital. We meet these goals by creating awareness of the organization’s community building platforms and complimentary supplemental youth education apps.
You can now have your volunteer hours certified. MePower Inc. is an official Certifying Organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award and has the ability to bestow Presidential recognition to our volunteers.
