8-11:30 and 11:30-3:00 (two possible shifts)

Volunteer purpose

• Friendly and energetic volunteer to assist with coverage and daily tasks at the Volunteer desk located at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial.
• Great visitors service to ensure quality and a memorable experience.
• Raise donations to help fund current Pacific Historic Parks Programs.

Duties and responsibilities

• Set up and cover the volunteer desk during scheduled shift.
• Engage in conversation and answer visitor questions.
• Collect donations from the visitors.
• Help the visitors with the National Park passport stamps
• Close the volunteer desk at the end of the shift assigned. Ensuring all items are put away and secure.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the Pearl Harbor National Memorial Visitor Center grounds.
• Friendly Visitor/Customer service skills.
• Light addition and subtraction

Working conditions

• Covered outdoor environment

Physical requirements

• Standing and sitting
• Lift up to 5lbs
