We are searching for front desk volunteers who can work weekdays or weekends from 9-1pm or 1-5pm. Primary duties include greeting visitors, answering questions about the Garden, and directing calls.
Volunteers need to:
-enjoy interacting with people
-have strong customer service skills
-have some computer skills (email and internet)
-strong attention to detail
-a good memory
-ability to multi-task
-ability to work independently
-good problem solving skills
-ability to deal with uncertainty
Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

The North Carolina Botanical Garden is a conservation focused, public garden affiliated with the University of North Carolina. In addition to our main display gardens, we manage several trail systems, a biological reserve, an arboretum, and vegetable gardens.
