This is a very popular arts festival with over 7,000 people coming in from all over the midwest to attend. We charge $5 at the door and this is one of our MAJOR profits of this event. Having cheerful volunteers staffing our 6 gates is crucial. We already have a lot of local volunteers, but if you were to volunteer we would use you to rotate the gates, assist with some of the 'cooling station' area, give direction, and in general, smile and be helpful. Over 100 top artists will be here, with a food vendors and live music both days.
Highland Park is a charming boutique town located just off of Central Avenue, on 41, which is two exits north of Lake Cook Road. The Art Center is just a 2.5 block walk from the metra station for those coming up from Chicago. We have a great spirit here and all are welcome.
Hope to see you here!
