Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa provides flexible volunteer opportunities during the week. Delivering a route typically takes about an hour in the morning and helps ensure that a neighbor in need isn't left hungry and alone.
For many seniors, the trusted Meals on Wheels volunteer who shows up with a hot meal and a warm smile is the only person they see or speak with all day. Our recipients find that receiving meals is a reason to get up in the morning, something to look forward to, and a reminder to take good care of themselves.
