2019 TCSPP Service Month Project Volunteers

ORGANIZATION: The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

There are two types of volunteer roles that we have open:

Service Month Campus Representative

Reporting to the Service Month Leader, Service Month Campus Representative are responsible for coordinating efforts for their assigned campus, responsibilities include:

  • Contact current and potential volunteer sites to coordinate dates and times for service month events.
  • Coordinating Service Month campus announcements
  • Coordinate distribution of tee-shirts to Site Captains
  • Communicate any updates/changes to service month scheduling to Service Month Leader and stakeholders
  • Keep track of campus-specific Service Month data
  • Conduct site captain orientation

Site Captain

The Site Captains report to the Service Month Campus Leads and act as the first point of contact for a specific volunteering event. Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for volunteers at the volunteer site
  • Resolve any logistical issues the day of the event
  • Responsible for collecting required documentation/ liability forms from volunteers
  • Responsible for taking pictures of volunteering activities and posting pictures to #tcsppservice
  • Coordinate the distribution of tee-shirts
  • Communicate reminders and event information to volunteers

  • Orientation or Training
  • Orientation for all volunteers. 3 days a week for Service Month Campus Representatives. Site Captains will need to be available and present on the day of the event.
