There are two types of volunteer roles that we have open:
Service Month Campus Representative
Reporting to the Service Month Leader, Service Month Campus Representative are responsible for coordinating efforts for their assigned campus, responsibilities include:
- Contact current and potential volunteer sites to coordinate dates and times for service month events.
- Coordinating Service Month campus announcements
- Coordinate distribution of tee-shirts to Site Captains
- Communicate any updates/changes to service month scheduling to Service Month Leader and stakeholders
- Keep track of campus-specific Service Month data
- Conduct site captain orientation
Site Captain
The Site Captains report to the Service Month Campus Leads and act as the first point of contact for a specific volunteering event. Responsibilities include:
- Act as the first point of contact for volunteers at the volunteer site
- Resolve any logistical issues the day of the event
- Responsible for collecting required documentation/ liability forms from volunteers
- Responsible for taking pictures of volunteering activities and posting pictures to #tcsppservice
- Coordinate the distribution of tee-shirts
- Communicate reminders and event information to volunteers
