As an official charity of the Eversource Hartford Marathon, the American Cancer Society's Team DetermiNation is looking for 20 volunteers to help at baggage check on race morning, October 12, 2019 from 5:00am-9:45am. Baggage Check is right in all of the action, seeing runners of all levels and abilities getting ready to run one of the four race options that day and ending just in time to see finishers start to cross!
Volunteers Benefits:
- All Eversource Hartford Marathon race day volunteers will receive a jacket and a draw string bag
- All volunteers for race week & race day will be fed a meal during/after their shift
- Entered into the HMF Volunteer Incentive Program
- Earn community service hours through HMF and ACS
- Overall satisfaction of giving back to the community - making a difference in another’s life!
