Seeking
Volunteers excited about bringing public lands to local communities throughout Boston.
About the Park
The Boston Harbor Islands National & State Park includes 34 islands and peninsulas situated within the large "C" shape of the Greater Boston shoreline. The islands are rich in natural and cultural resources and are managed by a unique, 13-member Partnership. The Boston Harbor Islands Partnership represents a range of federal, state, city, and nonprofit agencies. Each year Boston Harbor Now, the park's non-profit partner, supports the cost of 12 free evening community cruises to enjoy the history and views of the Boston Harbor. Cruises vary in length, destination, departure point and offerings depending on the community being served.
