The Red Cross is looking for passionate individuals to become Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers.

Join our amazing team! We are looking for new members for our Red Cross Disaster Action Team in Yakima! Help people affected by disasters ranging from home fires to floods by providing food, shelter, essential relief supplies, comfort and hope.

Requirements:

  • Availability to be "on-call" create your own schedule
  • Volunteers always work in teams of 2 or more
  • When on-call, you can continue regular activities, but must be ready to respond within an hour if called
