Help us and by extension, animals and the people on the front lines caring for them.
Our user-friendly software, To Your Rescue, enables all types of animal rescue organizations to improve operations and fundraising with comprehensive recordkeeping and reporting on animals, supporters, fosters and adopters, donations, events, and more.
Currently, our software can only be used and accessed by one Windows computer per shelter. Potential rescues and current users have expressed a need for a cloud-based app that can be accessed from multiple devices and on any device.
We have a capable group of developers and an excellent roadmap to build a cloud-based version of the software to make it more accessible to small shelters everywhere. That said, we’ve only progressed through 40% of the work and have run out of funds.
We need $50,000 in order to complete this app. We’ve already received $15,000 in pledged donations if we can secure $35,000 by the end of the summer.
All income from donors and purchasers of our very low-cost application is fully invested in product enhancements and client support tools like online documentation.
My wish is for the success of TYR so that it becomes widely used and recommended among animal rescue organizations. We at TYR have little to no fundraising experience, and can use all the help we can get!
Help us help animal rescues focus more on their animals and less on their admin.

Mission Statement
We help animals by helping the shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries that care for them with our low-cost, feature-rich software application. This application improves record-keeping, operational efficiency, and supports rescue's fundraising efforts. Our goal is to help as many animals and animal rescues as possible and all fees for TYR software licenses are reinvested in our product. None go to TYR officers or directors. To minimize operating costs, we function with volunteers and contractors and have no employees.
Description
We began developing an app for shelter record-keeping in 2007. We have an excellent product, an informative website, very competent software developers, and a small team of dedicated volunteers. We are looking for additional animal-loving volunteers who are willing to dedicate a few hours each week to the challenges of growing a non-profit organization and supporting a world-class software application that enables animal shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries to achieve their goals.
