Support the arts in Durham by volunteering at CenterFest Arts Festival! CenterFest draws over 30,000 guests each year to celebrate the arts and showcase a variety of local visual and performing artists. CenterFest will take place this year on Saturday, September 21 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, September 22 from 11am-5pm. CenterFest happens because of people like you- each year, over 300 volunteers contribute to the effort of pulling this festival together. Take a look at each volunteer job description listed in the sign ups below, and pick the role(s) and time(s) that are most appealing to you. Please dress for the weather, drink lots of water, and have a great time! We will have optional volunteer information sessions at the Durham Arts Council on Wednesday, September 18th at 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM if you would like to familiarize yourself with the event before the day of the festival.
