This event is coordinated by the Grand Strand chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Space is limited to 20 volunteers so please RSVP asap to get on the list. Contact Danny Callahan at volunteercoordinator@grandstrand.surfrider.org for questions and to RSVP for this event.
Join Surfrider and DNR's SCORE program to build an Oyster Reef in Murrells Inlet (location TBA).
It is fun, but sweaty, hard work on the shoreline so be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty (really dirty) and closed toe shoes/boots that can handle getting muddy. We provide gloves, eye protection, sunscreen, bug spray, and we will have water coolers that volunteers can refill their reusable water bottles with.
