In this position you will have the opportunity to honor and serve Veterans by assisting nurses in the urgent care/emergency department at the Fargo VA Health Care System. Some of the your duties will include:
Answering phones, relaying messages, escorting newly admitted patients to their room, turning over and stocking exam rooms, and assisting urgent care/emergency department nursing staff with various clerical tasks.
*The Fargo VA has a 50 hour minimum lifetime volunteer requirement, and all volunteers must pass a background check, submit to a TB test, and obtain a flu shot prior to volunteering.
