AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) members bring passion and perseverance where the need is greatest: to organizations that help eradicate poverty. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve as a catalyst for change, living and working alongside community members to meet our nation’s most pressing challenges and advance local solutions. United Way of Brevard VISTA's support our initiatives for health, education, and financial stability. This is a full-time volunteer position that will provide a Bi-Weekly Living Allowance ($479.08) and an end-of-year stipend ($1,500) upon completion.

Description
Brevard County's United Way has been in operation since 1957. For 50 years we have supported our member agencies and promoted the coordination and management of volunteers. We are very involved in disaster preparation and response, financial education, support for our 2-1-1 and helping to develop future leaders.
