Rivers East Village (REV) is a new community service program designed to help seniors age in place and be involved in community activities. Our service area is Milwaukie to Gladstone and unincorporated areas in between. REV is operated by volunteers with no paid staff or a brick & mortar office. Program operations are conducted virtually from volunteers homes through specialized cloud-based software. We are gearing up to begin offering services in March 2020.
REV is seeking volunteers to fill key positions. Training and ongoing support is provided. If you would like to learn more and are interested in joining our team, please visit www.riverseastvillage.org, review the volunteer tasks page and complete the online volunteer application.

Description
A village is a non-profit organization that helps people remain in their own homes and independent for as long as possible by providing a variety of non-medical assistance. A village is a perfect option for people who are passionate about remaining independent and in their own homes for as long as possible. Besides providing helpful services, villages offer neighborhood social events to reduce isolation, and bring neighbors together.
Village volunteers enjoy lending a helping hand. All village volunteers are screened and receive specialized training. Flexible volunteer opportunities can have a real impact in our communities.
