ORGANIZATION: Lake Sammamish State Park

Make a difference in the lives of children and families by sharing your knowledge and love of nature as you enjoy an afternoon outdoors in a serene State Park.

The opportunities are abundant : choose between roles like trail naturalist, table naturalist, and kids program assistant in potentially five different State Parks within an hour drive east of Seattle.

Volunteer opportunities are most in need from July to August . Volunteers may assist with camp programs, Junior Ranger programs, forest hikes, trailhead programs, tabling at special events, and school field trips.

Receive free interpretive training, beginning the final week of June. No prior experience necessary. Must be able to pass a free background check, provide excellent customer service, and enjoy learning and working with diverse families.
