Volunteer with Heart to Heart Hospice of Southgate. Our team services the areas from Northville to Ann Arbor to the Downriver area, and back to Redford. We'd love to have compassionate, empathetic, passionate people join our team as patient volunteers.
Your mission is to provide a light to those living out their finals days. You are their distraction from the diagnosis, the pain, and so much more. Volunteers can engage in a game of cards, watch tv, listen to music, talk about the patients life, share a bit about your own, and sometimes just be silent and provide comfort.
Volunteer commitments are a minimum of 2 times a month. We look forward to having you on board.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
