Race Volunteers Roles:
- The volunteer shift is from 7 a.m. to 2:30 -4:30 pm (end depends on the event and last race wave).
- Volunteer positions include racer check-in, bag check in, merchandise sales, obstacle observation, water station support, and finish line support.
- Rugged Maniac will provide all volunteers with a T-shirt, water, lunch, and orientation prior to the event.
- A week before the event, all volunteers will be emailed instructions for the day, including when and where to show up as well as a parking pass. Volunteer support is limited to the day of the event and requires no preplanning or effort on behalf of the volunteers
- For every ACS volunteer that completes the shift, Rugged Maniac will donate $15 to ACS for that event. Volunteering is a great opportunity for someone who doesn’t want to run the race, but still wants to participate and give back to ACS.
ACS TENT VOLUNTEERS also needed! These volunteers will help with the big chair, bib marking, sunscreen station, promoting ACS opportunities and selling DetermiNation swag.

Description
ACS provides patient services, education, and advocacy on cancer-related issues. In addition, the Society raises funds for cancer-related research. Fundraising events include Relay For Life, Bark for Life, and Strides Against Breast Cancer.
