Ruth’s Repeats, a new thrift shop opening up to support the many good works and the overall mission
of House of Ruth Maryland is looking for 10 volunteers to work a total of 3 hours each, one shift per
week. We ask that volunteers are available to serve the same day and the same hours each week from
the list below. The shop will sell second-hand and/or gently used clothing, jewelry, accessories, and
small housewares. Volunteers are being asked to assist customers, help with merchandising, sorting and
pricing, and occasionally, washing or steaming clothing. Customers will not be asked to operate the cash
register. If you have a particular interest and/or excel in a particular task we will do our best to
accommodate that desire. However, what is needed to be completed will be the priority of the
volunteer shift. Join us at Ruth’s Repeats as we open the doors in Charles Village between 25th and 26th
street at 2521 North Charles Street and offer Baltimore a new thrift store that’s small but packed full of
good things at great prices! As a volunteer, you will receive 20% off all merchandise and will be adding,
wholly, to the vision of House of Ruth where one day, every woman in Maryland will be safe in her own
home. Thank you for your interest. Please see the list below for shifts.
