Come be part of the solution! The City of San Jose has a family friendly fireworks display at Almaden Lake Park on July 4th. Volunteers are needed to help pick up trash on Friday morning, July 5th!
Please meet in the parking lot, off Winfield Blvd.
Free parking for volunteers!
Litter sticks and supplies will be provided.
Please wear closed-toe shoes
Bring a filled water bottle
A hat and sunscreen are recommended
This is a great family activity!

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.

The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
