About Northwest Harvest

Location:

3808 N Sullivan Rd, Building 14J, Spokane Valley, WA 99216, US

Mission Statement

The mission of Northwest Harvest is leading the fight for hungry people statewide to have access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health. Our vision is ending hunger in Washington.

Description

Northwest Harvest is the only nonprofit food bank distributor operating statewide in Washington with a network of 375 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools. Through this network, we provide nearly 2 million meals every month.

With distribution centers in western, eastern, coastal and central Washington, Northwest Harvest reaches rural communities where people in need would otherwise go hungry. We require that our partner food banks provide Northwest Harvest food freely to anyone in need, respecting our clients’ dignity while serving their need.

Volunteers at our Spokane Valley warehouse sort and package food so that food banks can use our food effectively.
