Bring Sparkle To A Senior: One-time Group Activity

Take a break from your day-to-day responsibilities to make a difference in a senior's life.

Help At Your Door, a nonprofit that helps seniors and individuals with disabilities to remain independent, is looking for groups - of co-workers, students, family, church members- throughout the Twin Cities Metro area to assist clients with some home-clean up projects.

Activities may include washing windows inside and out, weeding and yard work, cleaning out a garage, and other helpful home tasks. Help At Your Door provides project coordination and most supplies.

A typical project involves a group of 4-6 people for about 2 hours, though larger groups may be needed on some projects.

Projects take place throughout the summer and fall, as clients request them. Reserve a spot for your group soon! We accept groups for weekday or weekend projects.

Help At Your Door provides our clients with the services and resources necessary to remain vivacious and supported in life, while also providing families with the knowledge and security to ensure that their home is the best place for them to be. Volunteers provide grocery ordering and shopping services, handyman help, transportation, and chore services.
