During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Good Samaritan NEEDS your help and support for our under served community. The need for dental services continues to grow, and we need to continue to fill our 2020 dental clinic calendar. We are in need of licensed dentists who can give a few hours of their time on Wednesday evenings to help out those in our community who do not have access to any type of dental care. We have received a grant and have purchased a digital dental X-ray system (Carestream 6200).
We have taken extra precautions to make sure all staff, volunteers and patients stay safe and healthy, including daily sanitizing, temperatures and handwashing on all who enter the clinic, and screening questionnaires. In addition, we have purchased extra PPE for the medical and dental clinics. With these new policies and precautions in place, we have been fortunate to have been able to stay open and continue to serve our patients.

Mission - The Samaritan Health Clinic of Pasco, Inc. is a volunteer driven, not-profit organization that provides quality, non-emergency medical and dental services free-of-charge to eligible residents of Pasco County. Values - We are committed to treating our patients, volunteers and staff with respect and dignity, and to function at a high level of performance, making the best possible use of community resources. Our Vision - The Good Samaritan Health Clinic of Pasco, Inc. strives to meet the healthcare needs of eligible residents throughout Pasco County. Our goal is to be recognized as the leading source of healthcare for the uninsured by partnering with medical and dental providers and out community resources.
Good Samaritan Clinic has been serving Pasco County for 25+ years. In 1990, a dedicated group of individuals recognized an unfulfilled need to healthcare services to be freely available to the medically needy members of our community. Since that time, the Clinic has grown, and now treats over 3,500 patients yearly.
The Clinic staff is made up of only 3 full time employees with the others being part time, grant funded or contract team members. The clinic relies heavily on the help from an army of volunteers. In 2010, we received grants to hire a full-time ARNP. This allows for an additional 2,080 patients to be treated per year. Volunteers include the physicians and dentists of Pasco and Pinellas Counties. Other volunteers include physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, clerical personnel, promoters, and fundraisers. Referrals for specialized treatment and testing are made through the generosity of institutional partnerships with local hospitals, diagnostic clinics, and laboratories.
