ORGANIZATION: Good Samaritan Health Clinic

Good Samaritan NEEDS your help and support for our under served community. The need for dental services continues to grow, and we need to continue to fill our 2022 dental clinic calendar. We are in need of licensed dentists who can give a few hours of their time on Wednesday evenings to help out those in our community who do not have access to any type of dental care.

If you are unable to volunteer at the clinic, please let us know if you would be interested in seeing a few of our patients in your office instead. All of our Licensed providers are covered by the Sovereign Immunity contract through the Florida Department of Health. We would prepare all the necessary referral paperwork and the services would be limited to simple extractions or fillings, which are the only services we currently provide.

Description

Good Samaritan Clinic has been serving Pasco County for 32 years. In 1990, a dedicated group of individuals recognized an unfulfilled need to healthcare services to be freely available to the medically needy members of our community. Since that time, the Clinic has grown, and now has over 3,5000 patient visits annually.

The Clinic staff is made up of only 4 full time employees along with 8 part-time employees or independent contractors The clinic relies heavily on the help of over 100 volunteers a year. Volunteers include licensed MD's, DO's, DDS's, APRN', medical assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative support personnel, and eligibility and referral specialists.
