We are seeking dog-loving, kind, and patient volunteers that want to spend time outdoors with our dogs and provide them with opportunities for exercise and socialization. If you believe in the goodness of animals and people, come to our shelter. Our dogs will change your life, as much as you will change theirs! We are located in the Homestead/Redland area.

Mission Statement
We are dedicated to providing our dogs with a happy and healthy quality of life while they await adoption to a permanent and loving home. We keep our dogs in large pens and they get a chance to walk, play and run around a 5-acre property under the supervision of our volunteers. Our volunteers provide crucial interaction and stimulation to our beautiful and loving dogs.

Born Free Pet Shelter, Inc. is a No Kill 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Rescue organization rescuing and sheltering homeless dogs since 1981.
