We are looking for individuals who are passionate about state parks and who would like to become more involved in the preservation of state park, particularly Collier-Seminole State Park.
We are hoping to expand our Friends group and have the ability to offer programs year round!
As of right now our Friends group offers day-time and moonlight guided-canoeing trips. They also host various fundraisers in the park such as: ice cream socials, star gazing, musical events and sales of firewood and ice to park campers.

Description
The Friends of Collier-Seminole State Park is a nonprofit organization of dedicated members and volunteers who help preserve the natural beauty and resources of The Real Florida for generations to come.
The Friends help to support the park in many ways:
- Preserve and protect the state park
- Educate visitors about the value of state parks
- Encourage community engagement and active use of state parks
