The Philadelphia Chapter of Pets for Vets is looking for a foster "parent" for a dog in training. The dog (not yet adopted) will be trained in "good house manner" for a military Veteran with PTSD. Responsibilities include:
*Housing and caring for the dog for several weeks
*Working closely with a dog trainer weekly to help train the dog
*Transporting the dog to a nearby animal hospital for a wellness check, spaying and microchipping
*Communicating weekly with the Chapter Director
All expenses for the dog will be covered. If you can foster on a regular basis, that would be appreciated!
