Single-parent households, parents with multiple jobs, grandparents stepping in as parents, and lack of transportation are just a few of the challenges that keep many kids today from being able to participate in extracurricular activities.

That's where our outreach program comes in.

We send caring adults (LIKE YOU) alongside trained staff to schools and community centers to deliver Girl Scout programming at no cost to the family-- in communities where girls may not have otherwise had the chance to be a Girl Scout.

This Girl Scout program meets once per week during the school year. Please consider volunteering to support these girls and help them build the courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.

Mission Statement

Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Description

Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges-whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
